THE REST OF THE STORY
The map below shows where poverty is concentrated in Chicago and where poorly performing schools are located. These are places where non school tutoring and/or mentoring programs are connecting kids with extra adult help.  Parents and volunteers can use the Find A Program link at the right to locate tutor/mentor programs operating in these neighborhoods. Leaders can use this service to learn which neighborhoods have enough programs, or where there are too few programs.  Volunteers, donors and business partners can use this to increase the flow of dollars and technology into every neighborhood where programs are needed on a more consistent basis. Together we can help assure that No Child in Chicago is Left Behind. Visit the T/MC Map Gallery to see more maps like this.
