THE
REST OF THE STORY
The map below shows where poverty is
concentrated in Chicago and where poorly performing schools
are located. These are places where non school tutoring and/or
mentoring programs are connecting kids with extra adult
help. Parents and volunteers can use the Find A
Program link at the right to locate
tutor/mentor programs operating in these neighborhoods.
Leaders can use this service to learn which neighborhoods have
enough programs, or where there are too few programs. Volunteers, donors and business partners
can use this to increase the flow of dollars and technology
into every neighborhood where programs are needed on a more
consistent basis. Together we can help assure that No
Child in Chicago is Left Behind. Visit
