The 2005 Campaign kicked off with the MY HERO AWARD lunch, hosted by the Abraham Marovitz Lend A Hand Program on July 28th. More than 200 lawyers, judges and law firms gathered to celebrate the involvement of the legal community in Chicago area tutor/mentor programs.

Chicago Tutor/Mentor Programs are also Listed on the Chicago Access TV CAN CALL TV 42 program.

Following the recruitment of volunteers, every program will spend the rest of the school year working to train those volunteers to be effective tutors and mentors and change-agents in the lives of youth.  Some volunteers will even become leaders and will help build more and better tutor/mentor programs. We encourage you to participate in the November and Spring Tutor/Mentor Leadership Conference to network and learn from leaders of other programs.

Please consider becoming a sponsor of this campaign and the Tutor/Mentor Connection. To make a contribution, use the Pay Pal Section at the Recruitment Fair Registration section. To learn how you or your company, church group, hospital or alumni group can be involved, email tutormentor2@earthlink.net
