| Blog Exchange Strategy |
|
![]() Our goal is to encourage as many members of our own staff and volunteer networks as possible to use blogs to tell the story of tutoring/mentoring to their friends, and to tailor the message to events that we organize at different times each year. In addition, we hope to mobilize bloggers from all over the world, to blog tutor/mentor concepts, along the same schedule of events as we lead to mobilize volunteers and draw leaders together in Chicago. If we can get hundreds of bloggers to connect during these time frames, our blogs will build public attention and draw volunteers and donors to our web sites, then to the web sites of individual tutor/mentor programs and partners around the country. This flash presentation illustrates this strategy. At the same time, we also seek partners who can host webnars and other forms of on-line learning and networking that systematically build understanding of the ideas on the Tutor/Mentor Institute web site and in the Links Library on the Tutor/Mentor Connection site.. These events could be hosted from anywhere in the world. If you would like to present a workshop or partner in the Blog Exchange or other on-line forums, email
