Since 2005 the Tutor/Mentor Connection (led by Tutor/Mentor Institute, LLC since 2011) has used concept maps to share strategies and resources. This library was started in 1973 as Dan Bassill looked for ideas that he could use in his tutoring sessions, then grew as he led a single program from 1975 to 2011, and tried to help other programs throughout Chicago, starting in 1993.
